To begin with, let me start by saying the restaurants signage at the front says Sushi & Teriyaki, but if you search online or on Google maps it shows up as California Bowl Sushi & Teriyaki so just a heads up when you decide to come here.
I have been coming here since 2015 and by far this is my favorite sushi spot in the San Fernando Valley. Their food is always fresh and well prepared. The customer service is amazing and attentive. They have quite a selection to choose from ranging from appetizers, to teriyaki plates, rolls and party platters. Their prices are reasonable and the amount of food you receive is definitely worth the price. I always tend to choose a different so that I can pick out my top favorite rolls, but I'm slightly over half their menu and still have quite a way to go.
The restaurant gets kept very clean and you will never receive a dirty plate, utensil or cup. Their business hours are Mon-Sat 11am-9pm and Sundays closed. You can actually call ahead of time 818-782-6050 and have them prep your food so you don't have to wait when you arrive. It does tend to get crowded specially at noon and sometimes you won't find seating. They're pretty quick with your order, but then again it could vary depending on how busy they're. As far as parking goes, since this restaurant is inside a plaza next to other restaurants it is somewhat difficult to find parking, BUT it is definitely worth the wait.

Ok SO I wanted to try out this place cause it's near my job and I was super hungry, I come in and it's empty seems like I'm one of the first few people. So I order a crunchy California and salmon skin roll and a Thai ice tea. I Pay and wait. Soon a mob of people come in and order bento plates and sushi rolls they get their food BEFORE ME. I waited about 30 mins for my food, all the while everyone else gets there's first, I guess they prioritize people who eat in their restaurant instead of take out, and the food wasn't that great it was mediocre, the salmon skin roll is way over priced it's a basic roll it should be $5 not $8. Thai ice tea could use more flavor as well over all I had a bad experience coming her

Tried this place for the first time as per my brothers recommendation. It's ok. They serve you miso soup while you wait which is a plus but their sushi is not the greatest.

I love this place! Aside from their bomb sushi, their hospitality is fantastic! I come here so often. I recommend if in the area and looking for a great roll!
